Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a cooperative game for up to two players (or four, with two core sets). Set within the fictional world of H P Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, players will each take on the role of an investigator. Each investigator is unique, with their own set of skills, strengths and weaknesses, represented a deck of cards.
The game is played by completing a number of adventures; individual scenarios that combine to form a campaign..As players progress through a campaign, and purchase new expansions, they will have the opportunity to customise their investigator decks. This will enable them to tweak the gameplay to their personal preferences, and better equip themselves against challenges thrown up by the game.
There exists knowledge that could lay waste to our understanding of the universe. Amongst the ruins of an ancient Aztec City, renowned historian Alejandro Vela has unknowingly brought such knowledge into the light. His discovery sets in motion a chain of events that may threaten time itself. Two new scenarios will take your investigators to southern Mexico where they must work to stop an impending catastrophe. Each can be approached as a standalone adventure, or form the beginning of a campaign continued in The Forgotten Age Mythos packs.
Shatterred Aeons is the sixth Mythos pack in The Forgotten Age Cycle. It is one of six small expansions that continue the investigation opened in The Forgotten Age Deluxe expansion.
This is an expansion. You will require a copy of Arkham Horror the Card Game and The Forgotten Age Deluxe Expansion in order to play.
