This professional ultra wide zoom is designed for photographers and filmmakers who demand outstanding optical performance in challenging conditions. Covering an expansive focal range equivalent to 14 to 28 mm in full frame terms, it excels at capturing vast landscapes, dynamic architecture and immersive interior scenes with exceptional clarity and control.
The constant f2.8 aperture ensures reliable exposure and depth of field across the entire zoom range. This makes the lens well suited for low light environments and for maintaining consistent brightness during video recording. Advanced optical elements minimize chromatic aberration, distortion and flare, resulting in sharp images with high contrast from corner to corner, even at the widest settings.
Built to professional standards, the housing features comprehensive dust, splash and freeze resistance, allowing confident use in rain, snow or dusty locations. The solid construction inspires trust without becoming cumbersome, as the lens remains well balanced on OM SYSTEM and Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera bodies. With a weight of approximately 0.53 kg, it is practical for handheld shooting and travel focused assignments.
Close focusing down to 0.20 m opens creative possibilities for exaggerated perspectives and dramatic foreground emphasis. Manual focus operation is precise and smooth, which is particularly appreciated by video users who require consistent and repeatable focus pulls. The integrated lens hood protects the front element from stray light and physical impact, while a rear filter holder supports gel filters for long exposure or creative effects.
For rental users, this wide angle zoom is a versatile and reliable choice. It combines professional optical quality with durable construction, making it suitable for demanding commercial work as well as ambitious personal projects where image quality cannot be compromised.

In law there is always another way
Format: Kindle
I finished this book having completed all but one course for my law degree. It is a goldmine of techniques and outlines the modus operandi of how Judges and Lawyers ideally operate.

Needs to be more concise to weed out extraneous crap in your arguments
Format: Paperback
It’s very wordy and could be a lot more concise and be even more effective. “Getting to maybe” is not an exercise in dissertations but finding the right points to create an effective argument. There are better resources out there.

This book made me angry
Format: Paperback
I was excited about this book. Many law-related blogs and forums highly recommended this book. It's a "must read" for law students, they said.
I was angry when I read the introduction. I was angrier when I began reading the chapters. What happened to brevity? Law students are already swamped with course readings. Why write a book intended to be read by law students in such a long and voluminous way? Much of the text can be removed.
"Get to the point," I found myself telling the author as I read page after page. I hated it. It is the rare law student who will pick up this book for its narrative value. The typical law student will pick this book for its value on navigating through law school exams, not for its story-telling. Yet that student will be left disappointed.
I wish the author would have considered writing a "Get to the Point" book, which would serve as a shorter version of 'Getting to Maybe.' Perhaps it is not too late. "Get to the Point" could serve as an alternative or accompanying version, maybe? I ask that the author considers this.
