On his debut album, the Chinese ARD prizewinner Diyang Mei presents truly transcendental works for viola solo: The passacaglias and chaconne by Bach, Britten, Ligeti, Biber and Hindemith - a program of great intrinsic luminosity! It is indicative of the mastery and artistic maturity of the multiple competition winner that he has so completely transformed some of the greatest, most profound works of literature. In so doing, he extends far beyond his instrument. A great production! Diyang Mei was born in China in 1994 and began playing the violin at the age of five. From 2005 to 2014 he studied the viola with Shaowu Wang in the Central Conservatory of Music Beijing's Middle School and has since participated in masterclasses given by well-known virtuosi such as Pinchas Zukerman, Nobuko Imai, Roberto Diaz, Paul Coletti, Thomas Riebl, Valentin Erben and Günther Pichler. As a soloist he has performed with many orchestras including Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Philharmonic Orchestra Bad Reichenhall, Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra, Chursächsiche Philharmonie Bad Elster and Busan Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, among others.

Does it's purpose with style
We used these in our pantry and dining room for shelves and they turned out well. The only reason they are hard to install is because of the design (which is very nice) so it is worth it. It just takes time when you you are hanging the shelves, to do it correctly. While they can hold a lot, we realized that a bunch of cans or jars cannot go on these shelves. Luckily we had another option for heavy items (Example: We had about 40ish pounds of cans/jars on a 1x12 board that is 33 inches long with 2 of these brackets...and it was too much). If you do not need to hold a lot of weight, these shelves are a for sure, for the price and quality. If you NEED they for something heavy, then you probably will have to go with something more practical from a hardware store. We LOVE them for our pantry!

Nice brackets
These are nice sturdy brackets for butcher block shelf however they do bend a bit. We installed in a corner so was able to pin to side wall no problems on big shelf. The smaller shelf about 18” moves a bit up and down when loading. Now very little and no worries about it but not rock solid

Sturdy Shelf Brackets
I really like these shelf brackets. They seem very sturdy, which is great for my laundry room shelves over the washer & dryer pair. It's going to be great to FINALLY have shelves for laundry supplies or "buyers' club" household items like 12-packs of paper towels or 36-packs of T.P. I can hardly wait to have my sons install them so I can fill them up!
