Many of my more recent works are inspired by the idea of movement. I study movement often through sports, individual and team sports. In team sports, specifically ones like rowing, there is an element of movement that runs across the entire team. They are animated almost as if they are one being in perfect sync. The repetition of shapes and the synchronicity of the movements create such an attractive visual display. I see these three teams moving across the wall in an unending motion. Although the artwork is stationary, you see where they are going and how fast they move through space.
